You can call and order 1/4" fiberglass rods just like the luthier supply places at less than half the cost. Get the rubber tips too!Matthewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04200083861903139369noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957012867718248910.post-40431577719512900532009-11-10T09:32:41.250-05:002009-11-10T09:32:41.250-05:00[After reading Matthew's comment I edited this...[After reading Matthew's comment I edited this post also].Martin Lanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13640582183753162356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957012867718248910.post-23394782675723267312009-11-10T09:30:02.852-05:002009-11-10T09:30:02.852-05:00hi Matthew,

The back does have a greater radius than the top. I just had the numbers mixed up. My dowels work ok. I'm gonna look out for the fiberglass rods, though. I bet the pressure they exert is more even.Martin Lanehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13640582183753162356noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1957012867718248910.post-35427844381609656922009-11-10T08:00:42.196-05:002009-11-10T08:00:42.196-05:00Is there a 15' radius to the top braces on a 0...Is there a 15' radius to the top braces on a 00-17. I figured it would be 24 or 28 like most other guitars. <br />I use cork under my go-bars too! If the dowels you are using are too hard to manage, I bought twelve 4' lengths of 1/" fiberglass rod from a kite shop for $12 (including rubber tips) and cut them in half. They work great!Matthewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04200083861903139369noreply@blogger.com
